3D Measurement
3D measurement is achieved through a non-contact technique known as laser triangulation. Laser triangulation measures the distance from a sensor to a surface using structured laser light projected onto the target. A vision sensor captures the image of the laser patterns which are translated into actual 3D dimensional measurements.
