Equipment Failure
Ideally automation equipment will never fail; it is however inevitable that any mechanical equipment will require servicing or have an unforeseen failure causing lack of production. Manual backup systems can be an inexpensive and reliable way to provide production throughput on critical manufacturing processes.

Tool balancers are a great way to improve throughput by relieving the strain and stress of holding a heavy tool without support. Automation and quality check can also be added into these systems including, metering systems to measure and report dispensed amounts of material or automatic torque to specification and torque data monitoring and collection.
